  • 1 Tbsp dried lavender
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 6 Tbsp unsalted butter, cold
  • 1 cup buttermilk, cold

Instructions

  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and lavender sugar.
  4. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Stir in cold buttermilk until just combined.
  6. Turn dough onto a floured surface and pat to about 1-inch thickness; cut out biscuits without twisting.
  7. Chill cut biscuits in the freezer for 10 minutes before baking.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
