  • 1215 large pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil or parsley
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix together ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, herbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Fill each cooked shell with the cheese mixture and place them seam side up in a baking dish coated with marinara sauce.
  5. Pour additional marinara sauce over the top and sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes, removing the foil for the last 5 minutes until golden.

Notes
