Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 6 oz each)
  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook the pasta until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season steaks with salt and pepper; sear for 4–5 minutes per side. Let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add remaining olive oil and butter. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan; let simmer until thickened.
  4. Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, using reserved pasta water to adjust consistency. Add sliced steak before serving.
  5. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot alongside garlic bread or salad.
