- 2 pieces sirloin steak
- 1/4 cup Irish whiskey (Jameson)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 pound potatoes (Russets preferred)
- 1 cup kale (or cabbage)
- 1 cup full-fat cream
- 1/2 cup shallots (or onions)
Instructions
- Marinate the sirloin steaks in a mixture of Irish whiskey, 2 tablespoons of butter, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- Boil peeled and chopped potatoes in salted water until tender (15-20 minutes). Drain and return to pot.
