Ingredients
- 20 soft caramels
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- Approximately 2 sleeves of Ritz crackers
- 24 ounces chocolate almond bark
- Sea salt (or sprinkles for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine caramels and heavy cream. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir. Continue microwaving in 20-second intervals until smooth.
- Allow the caramel mixture to cool for about 5 minutes. On a baking sheet lined with wax or parchment paper, top half of the Ritz crackers with about 1-2 teaspoons of caramel and sandwich with another cracker.
- Refrigerate the assembled sandwiches for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Melt the chocolate almond bark according to package directions. Dip each sandwich in melted chocolate, shaking off excess, then return to the baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt.
