Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider rolls (Hawaiian or brioche)
  • 1.5 lbs thinly sliced ham
  • 1 lb Swiss cheese, sliced
  • ½ cup dill pickle slices
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice

Instructions

  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat and stir in minced garlic, pickle seasoning, and pickle juice. Set aside.
  3. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with some garlic butter mixture.
  4. Keeping the rolls connected, slice them in half horizontally and place the bottom half in the dish.
  5. Mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard; spread on the top half of the rolls.
  6. Layer ham, Swiss cheese, and dill pickles on the bottom half, then cover with the top half.
  7. Brush remaining garlic butter on top of the rolls and sprinkle with poppy seeds if desired.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing into individual servings.
