- 12 oz Rotini Pasta
- 12 oz Spicy Sausage (Andouille or Italian), sliced
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce (smoky or honey-based)
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder or Cayenne Pepper (adjust to taste)
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the rotini pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned (about 5–7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in BBQ sauce, honey, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return sausage and pasta to the skillet; toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
