- Canned pineapple juice
- Whole milk
- Unsalted butter
- Granulated sugar
- Light brown sugar
- Eggs
- Vanilla extract
- Instant yeast
- Bread flour
- All-purpose flour
- Fine sea salt
Instructions
- In a stand mixer bowl, combine pineapple juice, warmed whole milk, melted butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and instant yeast.
- Gradually stir in all-purpose flour and 2 cups of bread flour until a rough dough forms; then add salt.
- Attach the dough hook and knead on medium-high speed for 4–5 minutes, gradually adding remaining bread flour until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise until doubled (about 1½ hours).
- Shape into 15 equal pieces and place in a greased 9×13-inch pan. Cover and let rise again for about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush rolls with an egg wash and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
