  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 7 oz baby bellas or white mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup full-fat sour cream
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • 12 oz dry egg noodles

Instructions

  1. In a non-stick pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add onions and mushrooms; cook until browned (7-10 minutes). Remove from pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth and flour until smooth.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high; add olive oil and ground turkey seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook until browned (5-8 minutes). Stir in garlic and paprika; cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  4. Add the broth mixture to the pan; bring to a simmer. Stir in mushrooms and Worcestershire sauce; season to taste. Simmer uncovered until thickened (about 3 minutes).
  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and parsley. Serve over cooked egg noodles.
