  • 10 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 ounce package taco seasoning
  • 12 ounces bowtie pasta (uncooked)
  • 8.75 ounces canned corn (drained)
  • 15 ounces black beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • ½ red onion (diced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon spicy brown mustard
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add taco seasoning and black beans; cook for an additional 2 minutes. Drain grease and let cool.
  3. Cook bacon until crisp; crumble into small pieces.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together dressing ingredients until well combined.
  5. In a large bowl, combine pasta, bacon, beef mixture, corn, beans, tomatoes, onion, and bell pepper.
  6. Pour dressing over the salad; toss gently to coat.
  7. Serve immediately or chill for enhanced flavor.
