  • 1 pound bowtie pasta
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup milk or half-and-half
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef seasoned with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic in butter then add cream cheese until melted.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk/half-and-half until smooth. Stir in Parmesan and remaining Cajun seasoning.
  5. Return beef and pasta to the skillet; mix well, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
