Ingredients
- 1½ lbs ground beef
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- Optional: 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4-6 oval patties.
- Sear patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Transfer to the baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, milk, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the patties and top with sliced onions and mushrooms if desired.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
