Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

- 2 tbsp salted butter, divided
- 1–2 tsp garlic powder
- 1–2 tsp onion powder
- 1–2 tsp salt
- 1–2 tsp pepper
- 1–2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 carrots, peeled and diced
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1 heaping tbsp chicken bouillon + 2 1/2 cups water or 2 cups of chicken broth
- 2 cups broccoli florets, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups freshly grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Season chicken with olive oil and spices. Cook in a large skillet until browned and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté carrots and onions in butter until softened; add garlic.
- Add orzo and toast briefly before adding chicken broth and broccoli.
