Description

This vibrant Mandarin Orange Jello Salad is a perfect blend of sweet and tangy flavors, creating a refreshing dish that’s ideal for any occasion. Bursting with the juicy goodness of mandarin oranges, creamy textures, and a hint of tropical pineapple, it’s not only visually appealing but also incredibly simple to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (3 oz) orange-flavored gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup canned mandarin oranges (drained)
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (drained)

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in the orange gelatin until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water and mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually incorporate about half of the gelatin mixture while continuing to mix until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the drained mandarin oranges and pineapple chunks.
  4. Pour the mixture into a serving dish or individual cups and refrigerate for at least four hours or until set completely.
  5. Serve chilled, optionally garnished with whipped cream or additional fruit.

Notes

– For added flavor, consider incorporating grated orange zest into the mixture.

– You can use fresh mandarins instead of canned ones for an even fresher taste.

– This salad can be prepared up to two days in advance for convenience.
