Ingredients
- 3–4 cups Brussels sprouts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Trim Brussels sprouts and steam until fork-tender (about 15 minutes). Drain in a colander.
- Toss cooled sprouts in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread on the baking sheet and smash each sprout into flat patties using the bottom of a cup.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the smashed sprouts and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
