- Kosher salt and black pepper
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp chicken base (Better Than Bouillon recommended)
- 4 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 cup water

- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium-low and add butter and chicken base. Stir until melted. Sprinkle in flour, onion powder, and garlic powder; mix well to form a roux and cook for about 30 seconds.
- Gradually pour in chicken stock while scraping the bottom of the pan to incorporate flavors. Add water and whisk until smooth. Simmer until thickened.
- Shred cooked chicken if desired, then return it to the gravy and simmer for a few minutes. Adjust seasoning as needed.
